A small group of us went to Frammi for lunch yesterday and it was excellent. It is a quaint restaurant with quality food and a versatile menu despite the size of the establishment. A friendly husband and wife team own/operate the restaurant. The service is good and although it may take a little longer than other restaurants to get your food, it is worth the wait because of the care, attention, and expertise the staff put into every menu item. I highly recommend Frammi for lunch and or dinner. There is something for everyone on the menu and although they have a luncheon and dinner menu, they will prepare anything as requested any time they are open. Kudos!
Delicious meatball sandwich. I have had to get one every week since I first dined there. The food is made to order and so worth the wait. Really tasted like a family restaurant. Put this place on your go to.

I almost hate to post this review because when people figure out what a delight Frammi is, we might struggle to get a table!We had the privilege of visiting Rome and Naples last year, and everything we had tonight rivaled the best of our experiences in Italy. My husband had the penne Arrabiata (at Italian spice level) and loved it. I'm fairly certain his leftovers won't make it through the night. Our spawn tried Puttanesca for the first time, left a clean plate, and did little happy food wiggles the whole meal. My Carbonara was simultaneously light, rich, creamy...with glorious pops of salt from the pork and zings from the freshly ground pepper. We were also offered fresh garlic bread that was absolutely decadent and a housemade coffee liqueur digestif that paired perfectly with the fresh salame di cioccolato.I can't wait to go back.

I was touring apartments in the area all day and was absolutely starving. I showed up about 25 till close and they were still so accommodating. I let them pick for me and I had the lasagna, best I’ve ever had sincerely 🤍
I have visited this restaurant several times and always enjoy it very much. Tonight’s meal was my favorite (even tho the lasagna is great). The Fagioli All Uccelletto (cooked beans Italian style) ate like the most delicious bean soup I’ve had. Frammi didn’t scrimp on the sausage and has created the most delicious and rich base that was so flavorful. I enjoyed it so much I placed an order to go for lunch or dinner tomorrow.Don’t miss out on this friendly, clean and delicious neighborhood restaurant. BTW-the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve seen in a restaurant.

I would highly recommend this local family own restaurant. Luca and his family/staff are absolutely amazing. After living in Italy for several years and coming back to the United States it was very difficult to find truly authentic Italian dishes. When you order anything on the Italian side of the menu, you will eat an amazing dish as if you were in Italy.All staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly.My wife, my son, and I love eating here and will continue coming back as much as we can. Pleasant surprise to find such a welcoming atmosphere. The owner and staff checked on us frequently, made sure any questions were answered. Food was delicious, tiramisu was a perfect finish. I am from North Carolina and have heard nothing but beautiful things and memories from this place from my husband (who originally grew up in Florida) and I finally got to try it.First of all, the immediate friendliness that we were welcomed with pulled me in and made me so excited to try the food. I had pesto and my husband got ragu. Both dishes were some of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. It’s like a hidden gem, this place. I was blown away by the service, the kindness of the owner to us and our child, and the food was just to die for. I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes. And as often as I am in Florida and North Carolina, I will be talking about this place forever.
The owners are husband and wife from Italy. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is delicious. They have a mixture of authentic Italian dishes as well as popular American fare such as pizza and burgers. They have dine-in and take-out.

First, the place is very nice. The attention of the waiters is very polite but without a doubt the attention of the chef is something else, he takes the time to get to know you and explain his dishes. They make everything from scratch. This time we tried the burgers, one of the best I've ever had, their meat is so juicy and perfectly seasoned, everything felt so fresh. And finally we tried the tiramisu, a dessert with a perfect harmony between its sweetness and the coffee flavor, it does not overwhelm you and it seems like it was freshly made, in addition to the fact that its food portions are very generous, of course I will return and highly recommend taste ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ahh y hablan español, no se puede pedir más 🤩

The most amazing italian meal ive had in florida! I drive here from Winter Haven to get the delicious pasta. The ingredients are so delicious and fresh, i even bought the oil! The staff is great and so helpful.
From the moment we walked in, we knew we found our new Italian go to. This place has phenomenal service, and feels like home. The chef greeted us and gave us his advice on some of the entrées. He was not pushy at all, and in fact, guided us in a truthful manner. You can also tell that he takes care of his employees by the way he talks to them. This also transfer to the service provided by all members of his team! The food was also amazing and can’t wait to try more options!

Frammi is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the Tampa area. We have spent weeks traveling throughout Italy, and just like dining in a town in Italy, it is quaint and inviting. The owner and chef is straight from Italy. He moved to our area just a few years ago with his family... We are fortunate for this. The food is always perfect, the service is very good. We are from out of town and whenever we are in Wesley Chapel to visit our children (& grandson), we make sure to have dinner at Frammi’s! Lucca and his family/staff are excellent cooks as well as hosts. The food is consistently phenomenal and the hospitality is superb! Keep making the pesto, arrabbiata & salsiccia!!! Luca and his family have been a second home since we started coming to Frammi a little over a year ago. My husband lived in Prato when he was in college and fell in love with Italy and the culture. We took a trip to the Tuscany area 2 years ago and I fell in love with it. Shortly after, we found Frammi. The food here is exactly what you would get over in Italy. Luca always makes a point to say hello to us when we walk in. We're treated like family (even when we haven't been in the restaurant in a few months). We bring our families here when they come visit and they are recognized and treated the same. He knows my husband likes the arrabbiata very very spicy. And my 9 montg old son loves the Ragu de Salsiccia. 😆Luca, I can't thank you enough for bringing Italy to us and to Tampa as a whole. I would give Frammi 20 stars if I could. ❤️

I absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The food was DELICIOUS! It was authentic Italian, lovingly prepared just steps away from our table. I had the Arrabiatta Pasta, Garlic Bread, and Tiramisu. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and had just the right amount of sauce and spiciness. The beautifully toasted garlic bread tasted like it was dressed with Italian olive oil and fresh garlic.... sooooo yummy! We took our dessert home and upon eating it, agreed that it was THE BEST TIRAMISU WE'VE EVER HAD.... it was an instant "Oh my gosh... YUM!" at first bite.Today is a Wednesday evening, and we were fortunate to have met Luca, the chef and owner of this wonderful place. He is charming, funny, generous and kindhearted. We loved this talented and hardworking man, he is a gift to this earth!You've got to go to Frammi's if you haven't been blessed to have been before. This quaint restaurant has the makings of greatness; unpretentious home Italian cooking like your Nonna would make. No opera singers or rococo decorations will distract you from the truly delicious dishes the passionate chef, his charming wife and his crew prepares right in front of all to see. You will not find Italian American taste with sweet tomato sauce and exaggerated melted cheese covering the taste of the food. This is real Italian food. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce had the perfect “Quanto Basta”. The customer service is excellent and they will make sure you leave satisfied. The chef will come to your table and his southern Italian passion will convince anyone the pride he takes for the dishes he prepares. The place has few tables so make sure that you call in advance, also make sure you call in advance to reserve food. as the more popular dishes run out fast. Had great food and service when we came in for dinner last night. The owner and chef, Luca, took the time to speak with us even though he was extremely busy. He makes his customers feel like friends and family. Given it was a weekend, we made reservations. He has a loyal following who dine in and take out... Our favorites include the Buschetta, Carbonara, Penne alla Vodka, Lasagna, and his freshly made meatballs are not to be missed!!! Pasta is imported from Italy as well as the olive oil from Tuscany.
Authentic Italian food with family style service. My husband and I have eaten a number of meals here and brought our grown children and parents. They all agree that the lasagne is the best we’ve ever had, the bruschetta, the pesto, and the clam pasta are all our favorites. For lunch we’ve enjoyed the cheese steak, chicken tenders, and Cuban sandwiches with crinkle fries, all delicious!Everything is made fresh, so be prepared to enjoy a drink and some conversation, but it’s worth the wait!
Authentic Italian food and the best I’ve found in the Tampa area. Italian Family owned and operated so you get personal care and service by the owners. The food is always amazing whether you get Italian food off the menu or chose the grill menu. The hamburgers are the best in the area in my opinion for the price you pay. We always reserve a table early in the day and you can reserve the eggplant parmesan (my fav) and tiramisu or lasagna in advance so they don’t run out before you arrive. The food is homemade and soooooo good! Oh and the bruschetta is the best I’ve ever had! We took our friends here last night and they loved it! Sorry no fotos because I ate my food so fast I forgot.Ciao! 😊😋
We have been supporters of this restaurant since it opened. (Weekly customers) But recent change in menu and staff has left us very disappointed. Front staff is rude and unhelpful. Take-out times are OVER AN HOUR. (1.5 hours on the weekend!) We love local restaurants but unfortunately this isn’t the place for us anymore.
We love this restaurant. It is family owned (the family is from Italy) and everything is made from quality ingredients - it is obvious. Even the lasagna noodles are homemade. The meatballs are the owner’s grandmother’s recipe. We took a piece of tiramisu with us - outstanding.This is a one-of-a-kind eating establishment. Family-owned and operated, reasonably priced, homemade and imported ingredients, and you don’t need to travel to Italy - it is located right in Tampa!!!

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Frammi on Wednesday and it was fantastic. The penne vodka and the carbonara were DELICIOUS, and the meatballs were some of the best we’ve ever had. Don’t skip on dessert and get the Tiramisu! Such a great hidden gem in New Tampa and the owners are wonderful. We will definitely be back frequently.
This place is truly a hidden gem. My wife and I went for lunch and it did not disappoint! I had the bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the pesto. Their burgers are perhaps the best I have had in a long time. I am not a fan of pesto but after trying my wife’s meal, i would get the pesto in the future. I cannot wait to go back again and try another burger! They have a nice selection of different pastas, burgers, sandwiches, etc and a good description of what each entails. We cannot wait to go back and try something else. The owner was top notch and the service was excellent. We got more food to go since we couldn’t decide what to get when we went. The muffuletta sandwich was excellent and the Reuben was just as good. They are generous with the portions and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
This experience was outstanding! The customer service was fantastic! The food was incredible! My husband had the BEST burger, my dad had the fried chicken sandwich, and I the Ruben. All were beautiful and so delicious looking! Taste was incredible. This is definitely our favorite restaurant we have explored so far since moving to Tampa!
Frammi’s is by far the most authentic Italian food around. Everything is made to order and the owners are always working and making it a great experience. The meatballs, garlic bread, lasagna and every pasta dish has been perfection. They sell their own olive oil, I highly recommend you buy it!
Frammi is seriously the best restaurant in town!! Between my husband and I and the friends and family we’ve brought we’ve tried several different menu items and everything has been absolutely delicious. Luca and his crew go out of their way to make everyone feel very welcome and Luca does an amazing job crafting every dish and recommending food and wine for your preferences. You really can’t go wrong, but try the Luca’s Sauce pasta and thank me later.
I know you don't really need another 5 star review, but I can't say enough about this place. I found this place thru google looking for a hamburger, and to my surprise found out they also cook Italian food. Authentic Italian food!!!!!! Im from NYC and can attest they are the real deal. I finally got some penne ala vodka in the Tampa area that actually is as good as NY!! The people who work here are kind, attentive and professional. As a newbie to the Tampa area, I def recommend this place to all that miss good Italian food from NY. I had their penne alla vodka, My wife had the Luca sauce pasta, and my son had chicken fingers with fries (not Italian but still was good according to my 7 year old lol). All 3 entrées were delicious.
This place has my heart! Once you come in it feels like you’re at home. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I’m in love with their lasagna. Luca and Erika are always attentive and make sure that every visit is amazing!
I wanted to try a new place that served burgers and Frammi popped up, so decided to try it. I wasn't sure what I expected, but definitely want to go back and try an Italian entree. The burgers are very meaty, 1/2 pound that's a lot of beef. No fillers, all meat, grilled perfectly. My burger was the Black Angus with provolone and the fries were hot and crispy. My son got the ghost pepper burger with fries The server brought out crispy bread sticks while we waited. The food came out a little slower, as it's prepared as the orders are placed, so very fresh and hot. Glad we tried it.
Absolutely delicious food! Very authentic Italian meals. The chef/owner Luca is the absolute best and super attentive. This is where my family goes anytime we are craving some delicious pasta. We had the carbonara, kamikaze, ragú and vongole and each one was excellent. We also had the tiramisu at the end which is made everyday in house and it is the best tiramisu we have ever had, don’t go there without trying it. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants authentic Italian pasta made by an Italian chef!

I hesitated sharing this review because I’d like to keep its greatness all to myself. Went here the other night after looking for somewhere new to try. I had been hesitant to try out Italian food in Tampa since trying Rocca a year ago (that so many people raved over, but let’s be honest, it’s just mediocre). Upon arriving to Frammi, there was a short (under 20 min) wait around 8 pm on a Friday. We had a bottle of very delicious wine, the burrata caprese, luca’s sauce pasta, and another pasta that I can’t remember the name of but it said “light spicy” on the menu, before taking the tiramisu home for dessert. Everything was spectacular! However, for my Alfredo lovers, I HIGHLY recommend the Luca’s Sauce! I asked them if they sold it on its own because I would’ve bought a quart the next time I had guests come over. Unfortunately, they do not sell it on its own. But we did learn that the owner, Luca, created the sauce after he opened the restaurant to cater to Alfredo lovers (as they don’t make this sauce in Italy). He puts every Alfredo pasta I have ever had to shame! Don’t order this unless you want every other Italian restaurant ruined for you!A young man who looked to be in high school was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable. And towards the end of our evening, the owner came by to check on us and see how we enjoyed everything.This is clearly a man who loves what he does and puts his heart into it. Everything is made fresh when you order it and it’s so we’ll prepared. I would never send anyone in Tampa to another Italian restaurant as long as this one exists.
My mom and I were in Tampa on vacation and visited this restaurant on 4/25/2023 for dinner based on all of the positive reviews. Our experience couldn't have been better! I ordered the lasagna and my mom ordered the caprese salad. We both came to the same conclusion "this food tastes just like Italy!" We have both been to Italy and believe me, the food tastes just like it does there! So, if you want authentic Italian food and super friendly service from a family owned business that really cares about what they are doing, then this is your place!

My wife and I both had the bacon egg cheeseburger with gouda cheese, fries and onion rings. EVERYTHING was nothing less than SPECTACULAR! The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. The 3 staff members were above and beyond our expectations. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms were nice and clean. Frammi is a hidden gem. With both American and Italian cuisine. Thankfully it is not a fusion style menu, both menus hold true to their style. Every item is freshly made and cooked to order. Solid burgers (the patty melt hits just right), an awesome fried chicken sandwich, and the fries are done right every time (now krinkle cut my fav). I order extra because they are so good. It has become a Sunday lunch tradition for my family. My 5 year old tells me his order before we even get there. A cheese burger with fries and 3 meatballs on the side. Moving over to the Italian side is equally as good. With just about everything made in house and some ingredients imported as well. The pasta, the meatballs, and the lasagna is fresh baked just before I arrived. I watched them make a meatball sandwich. It was crafted with care. It's the little things I noticed, like hand sprinkling the parmesan vs the assembly line style of a subway restaurant where it's shaked on nonchalantly by some who "just" making a sandwich. Then it's pressed similar to a Cuban sandwich, again its the little things. The owner's friendly service and care taken to ensure you have everything you need it is also noted. All in all Frammi is a worth a visit!
We just could not wait to give our review! Here my husband and I were looking for a place to have a late lunch for Mother’s Day as a treat and we came across this spot after driving by several restaurants that were jammed packed! We were so pleased with how welcoming the entire staff were! Lucas took his time to walk me through on what choice of wine I should have based on the selection of plate. EVERYTHING was delicious! If you’re looking for an affordable authentic meal, then this is the place you don’t want to miss! We will definitely return to try different plates!

I absolutely loved my carbonara dish here. It was delicious! Our service was fantastic. The owner Luca, brought out our food. He told us about our dishes that he had made from scratch. We were a party of 3 and we all loved our food! We will definitely be back. If you haven’t tried them before, you will not be disappointed!!
First time at FRAMMIs. Enjoyed a delicious bacon cheeseburger and a spicy Italian sandwich. Both were delicious, as was the pasta sample we were provided. Luca and his family were wonderful and very social. Enjoyed watching them work in the open kitchen. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area again!
When me and my family first came here, we didn’t know what to expect. There was the choice between the American and Italian cuisine. I was thinking about just having a burger, but their Pesto dish caught my eye and sounded really good. When I took my first bite, it was delicious! It was so good that I ate it down to the last bite and used bread to pick up the remaining sauce on the dish. My parents enjoyed the meatballs and caprese, and we enjoyed their homemade tiramisu and crepe and was the best we ever tried. They had great service, they made us feel welcome, they made sure that we got the best experience, and they were great people! If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with great service, definitely come this place! It’s a 10 out of 10!👍🏼
This place is amazing! I had the lasagna which was the best I have ever had. My husband and son each had burgers which were delicious, juicy and cooked to perfection! W will definitely be back! FRAMMI is our new favorite place.
Excellent food, excellent service, amazing owner and staff. I go there every time I go to Tampa to visit my daughter and we always have such a great time there. Do yourself a favor go have lunch it's fantastic for dinner.
ADDED 2022:Still love the burgers but have been trying a few of the pasta dishes including pomodoro fresco (delicious).==================================================My family and I are regulars at Oakley Grille. We generally go on Cheeseburger Tuesday and have the special. We love it. I get the sweet potato fries with my burger.I have also had the lasagna on a Sunday night. Very tasty.What makes this place special is the owners and staff. Luca and his family are fantastic and Travis behind the grill is A+.Do yourself a favor and try Oakley Grille today. I have never had a bad meal and I am well into the double digits.
My husband loves their burgers! But tonight I wanted something different. I got the Cuban. It was delicious! The spicy capicola is a great addition. I will definitely order it again. We still haven't had any Italian dishes, that will be next!
Tried this place for the first time while visiting family. I wanted a Burger, I like them juicy, no pink. I usually have to get them well done, because places don’t know how to cook a burger properly. The cook personally came over and asked how I wanted the burger, he said he assures he can get it no pink, and juicy without getting it well done. Well, I must say, he was absolutely right!! The burger was soo juicy, no pink whatsoever! The doors of this place say “The best burger in Tampa”, and I would absolutely agree!! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!!
